Back beach salon is my personal favorite!!! Love me some Melissa and her entire staff is AMAZING...tan on!! ;) I love my girls at the Panama City location. They are always so sweet! Well, I never brag on anyone because I feel everyone should perform to their fullest while at work so my following comment should not be taken as just any. As a former store owner on Panama City beach I know how difficult it can be to one find great employees and to maintain a satisfied customer base in this unique and somewchallenging market.Your salon on back beach road should be a shining example to all of your corporate stores. Superb cleanliness,tasteful decor, extremely relaxed atmosphere, and the greatest ensemble of staff your business may have at any of its locations. Your team there is led by a superb manager by the name of Melissa, who through interacting with me as a possible new client displayed her vast knowledge of your product lines, your equipment and your business commitment to make sure each of your clients are happy. You should be very proud to have her as the one who represents the name Club Sun. As a business major, I want you to know how fortunate you are to have her hold a leadership position. She extends qualities that cant be taught, that are unique and specific to just her. Kudos to her and the rest of your staff for the over the top job they perform daily. As a child, I was diagnosed with a rare skin pigmentation disease; my parents sought the best dermatologists at UAB for a cure. Their I have been a member at another tanning salon locally for many years and decided to see what all my friends liked so much about Club Sun. Well, from the moment I walked in the door (at the one on 84) I could see why. The girls greeted me and explained everything thoroughly to where I didn't feel like a number but a person. As I listened to them interact with other clients coming in I was very impressed with their knowledge of products and services that y'all offer. Needless to say I walked out that day, signed up as a VIP, and with products that was suggested by the young ladies that were helping me that day. (I believe one was the Mgr. Jennifer and young lady Sage) Now I ENJOY going to tan because of the precious young ladies at this salon. Thank-you for having people that care about their jobs and about who walks thru their door. I've been a client of your Callaway store on and off for 5 years and I'd just like to say, you've got an amazing staff. They are ALWAYS smiling and positive. I can't think of one time where my visit hasn't been pleasant. I sometimes ride my son to daycare on my bicycle and Club Sun is right on the way so I stop in and your manger even offered to let me put my bike inside so it doesn't get stolen. How sweet is that?! I recently won free treatments at another spa and was going to cancel my membership due to them offering a massage bed. Alice at Northside encouraged me to just freeze my account until I could check out the other spa. I used my free treatments and was not satisfied with the knowledge or customer service level at the other salon. I have been to several of the Club Sun salons in Dothan and Panama City. The customer service at Club Sun is top notch. I came back within the month and reactivated my membership and am now a Diamond member. I love the red light therapy and the sunboard. Alice and Nicki have both very very helpful to me. Hi Larry, I just wanted to let you know about a conversation I just overheard. A customer was waiting on her bed to be available and called her girlfriend while she was waiting. She was bragging to her friend (who tans elsewhere) that she now pays less and gets more beds, and we gave her the rest of the month free tanning and a whole month of red light free (bc she signed up on a 6 mom VIP her 1st day coming to Club Sun). She then went on to tell her friend how clean our salon always is, how friendly the staff is, and how beautiful the salon was decorated. I think we should count on seeing her friend in soon ;) When I hear comments like this it just makes me swell with pride to work for such a great company who really cares about their customers and I love hearing such positive comments about all of the ladies here at D15. Also, I've been working some evenings to fill in shifts and the night customers always make sure to tell me how they consider the ladies here at Club Sun family and how they just love coming in to tan and seeing their smiling faces. I know I have a great crew here but I LOVE hearing it from customers also! I just wanted to pass along a note that a customer wrote to us today. She was in the salon (P19) earlier this evening and witnessed a very difficult customer. Everytime I go in she is very friendly and helpful. She doesn't just try to sell the product she has product knowledge and let's me know that it's the best for me. All the beds here burn me...even only going 5-7 minutes in them and they only sell Designer Skin lotions. Never had a problem with Club Sun beds and I actually got really tan! The beds in Cali suck and none of the salons have employees that are even half as educated and helpful as you guys! And I miss my bed bucks! When I lived in Mobile, AL (for 25 out of 27 years lol) I always went to the Club Sun on Schillingers & Airport! Loved them! The salon was immaculate, and Jordan was exceptional! I had never met Jordan before, and she was so knowledgeable about anything and everything I asked her. And I adore the products! I used a sample of Justified I was given, and I took home Tanatomy Signature moisturizer and shower gel. I have never used anything I loved more or used anything that smelled so good! And the Red Light therapy is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. It was so relaxing, and I can't wait to see the results. David Arnett is a close friend of mine, and he kept telling me all about what was going on at Club Sun. And as usual, I had to check it out. I love that you shared this article because for about 10 years different Dr's wanted to diagnose me with depression and I tried MANY different antidepressants that had horrible side effects but did not make me feel better. I noticed that I felt worse in the Fall and Winter months so I found a Dr that was curious about my Vit-D levels. He found that I have a Vit-D deficiency and put me on the prescription strength once weekly. Very inexpensive and I was absolutely amazed at how much better I feel. I've been tanning at club sun for 6 years and I love to see you advertise on this health topic. Having been a VIP Club Sun member for about the last 8 years, ALL of your staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very well trained. Your salons are immaculate, feature the latest technology and products, and above all I'm treated like I matter most every time I tan. And when I don't have to wait to tan behind a 100 spring breakers because you value your local year-round customers who stay with you every year, that's just the icing on the cake:) Kudos to you for being the best at what you do! Julie, Tammy and Tiffany are excellent staffers for the eastside salon. Tammy was very informative and did an excellent job of explaining the red light bed and the spray tan booth. Thanks for having such a helpful friendly staff. It makes each visit more enjoyable. I just got my first spray tan ever and I have to say that I really like it. I had been tanning with Club Sun for a couple of years but never have tried the spray. It was quick and the results were great. I made my choice and I will be doing it through the winter. Thanks Club Sun! I just wanted to say that the evening staff that you have working at the Dothan, Eastside salon are totally awesome. I have been a member of Club Sun for many years and I think that these girls are great. They are super friendly and go out of their way to help you out. I look forward to going daily. I just asked my dentist if I would benefit from the teeth whitening services they offer. He said absolutely not...your teeth are as white as they can be. As a current tanning salon owner ( my salon is in Chesapeake, VA) here in Pensacola for military schooling, Club Sun has become my second home. I will miss them all alot! Club Sun is by far the best. The equipment is always in working order (fans, radio and bulbs) and the employees are always happy to help. I am new to the tanning experience and they have graciously tolerated all my questions. Dorothy and Ellen go above and beyond. Club Sun at 1630 Airport Blvd. in Pensacola, FL has fabulous staff like the manager Jeffrey, who is very good at what he does. Jeffrey is professional and people oriented. That is a hard trait to find in people these days. Jen Hallman and Heather Smith are very wonderful front area personnel. They are very informative and also very professional. Margaret Corbin heard about red light therapy for a while before we got and thought what the heck, why not try it. Her skin ( being a little bit older) is paper thin and she said every time she plays with her dogs they would scratch her and she would bleed and immediately go for a bandaide. Well, its probably been two months that she has been using the red light bed and here is the clincher. She was playing with her dogs as usual, and they scratched her so without looking she went for a bandaide but when she went to put it on she WAS NOT bleeding, she says that the red light therapy has replumped her skin!! I thought that was incredible and she said I could pass on the story. Thanks for your time, and please, pass it on. Went by Thursday morning and got my spray tan before leaving for Orlando. It did great! I won the Mrs. Heart of America Title. Please share with the ladies at the northside salon location. They were so helpful in getting everything just right! Thanks!! I have tanned with Club Sun on and off since I was 18 and have tanned at a few of the PC, FL locations and would just like to say that the exceptional customer service and terrific staff at the salon on 23rd St makes it a pleasure to tan with Club Sun. Beth and Maegan are great and never hesitate to answer any questions I have and ALWAYS GO "ABOVE AND BEYOND" to see how lotions, mositurizers, beds, etc. are working for me. Service like that keeps you coming back. I just wanted to say, that I love the Daphne salon. I have been tanning for about 7 years, and I have never been so informed on the benefits of UV tanning. I tanned at the Daphne location on Saturday. Julia informed me about some new lotions and helped me decided on what bed to use to darken my tan. She answered all of my million and one questions, plus more. I really appreciated the customer service! My daughter and I recently joined Club Sun and cancelled our package with Palm Beach and am very happy since the change. Your staff has been very friendly and me and my daughter have been greeted with a smile and friendly service. Just wanted to let you now what a good job they are doing. I have been a member of Club Sun for 5-6 years. I would like to comment one of your managers- Kerian Pannell. Everytime I walk in she always has a big smile on her face which is a pleasure in this day and age where customer service seems to have gone by the wayside. Kerian always, and I do mean always, is a delight. Her dedication to her customers is a breath of fresh air to me. I actually look forward to seeing her with the beautiful smile she has for every client!!! She recently assisted me in choosing a new tanning lotion, answered all of my questions, and helped me make the best decision while staying within my budget- that to me is AWESOME!!! I admire someone like Kerian who is an awesome manager and is there for each and every client!I look forward to seeing her each and everytime I go to Club Sun- and one more thing- her salon is the cleanest and most most well kept up tanning salon I have EVER been in!! The bottom line for me- Kerian Pannell rocks big time!! The young lady at Metro West (Kylie, maybe?) was definitely A+, as was the lady at the Daleville location (didn't get her name). Today I needed to renew my membership and as I said your staff has made it impossible to go anywhere else no matter what the price. I was at the Back Beach branch today and Melissa helped me renew my membership. The thing that impressed me the most was Melissa's willingness to help me get the membership that was right for me. She didn't try to up sell me on a more expensive membership that I would never use. What she DID DO was ask me questions to determine my needs. She kept me in my current membership which saved me money and is all I really use. It's that kind of honesty that sets you all apart! Besides... she has me hooked on your other products so I will be spending that money with you all anyway! She's a keeper. I've been tanning at club sun since high school (6-7yrs). I've visited over ten different locations from Destin to Panama City, and from south Mobile back to Dothan. When I walk into whatever location Ms. Alice Yoakam is managing I instantly feel at home. From an owners stand point she sales products in a non-pushy yet informative way. Her whole staff picks up on her cheerful welcoming attitude. I love to see Ms. Adria Johnson who is confident in the products she sales, and she makes me feel like a friend rather than a consumer. Ms. Cara and Ms. Anna are also employees that have hospitality and manners. The northside Dothan branch is what I like to call "The Dream Team". Keep up the good work Club Sun, and remember life's short... live it in color. Whenever I'm out running errands I drive out of my way to tan at the Northside salon. They are the friendliest staff! They always call me by name, greet everyone that comes in the door, make eye contact when talking to you, and tell you thank you when I'm leaving. Several weeks ago when you were having problems with your computers and beds not communicating properly. Allie and the rest of your team maintained unexpected calm and professionalism through a frustrating situation! They were great! Night after night, they could have made everyone feel anxious or angry or even lead customers to have a bad opinion of the company. But they simply stated the honest facts, offered solutions and even handed out product samples (which I thought was genius... she turned an unpleasant moment into a marketing opportunity!) Pat Allie and the team on the back...they did a good job! I usually tan in Dothan, AL but this weekend was in Panama City and tanned at one of the salons there. I just wanted you to know as a customer and business owner your staff is so couteous and all the salons are consistant in the fact that they have clean, beautiful facilities and friendly, knowledgable staff. Keep up the good work Jeff!! My experience at Daleville (especially Tammy) is always quick and pleasant. The salon is always clean and i have never had to wait very long. All the workers there have great personalities and are very friendly. I just visited this location to receive a spray tan on 3-19-2010 at around 8 40 ish. It was near closing time and there was a line for the spray tans. I spoke with Natalie at the front desk who was extremely nice and helpful. She went out of her way and probably had to stay a few extra minutes to make sure I was taken care of. I wanted to make sure she was recognized for her wonderful customer service and good attitude. She went out of her way for me and I really appreciated it. Thank u again! Have a good day! I've been a member for a couple of years now and I've gone to every location in Panama City and Panama City Beach. I love them all, but my favs are the Callaway Branch and the Back Beach Branch. All of the staff at both locations has taken the time to learn my name and my favorite beds, etc. As a Technician providing customer service for the last 16 years it's those personal touches that keep people coming back. You can be really proud of such excellent managers and staff who are the reason. I will continue to remain a member come hell, high water add/or tan taxes!! I love coming to Club Sun in Daleville. The Manager, Laurie, and all the girls are always very friendly and professional at the same time. They look so cute in their bright colored shirts with their tanned faces. When I come in they always great me by my name. Silly, but that makes me feel special. The facility and equipment are well maintained and extremely clean. The décor reminds you of a tropical paradise. I feel like I’ve escaped for a 30 minute vacation each time I visit. I especially like the different tanning options they offer. I spend most of my time in the Tall Kahuna but I visit the Big Kahuna and the Cayenne often as well. I feel very comfortable at eastside. I drive across town to get there. They have great hours and the best beds. The staff is always very helpful. I wouldn't tan anywhere else. I just wanted to take a moment and comment on my experiences when I visit your Northside location. When I visit there I am always treated as a valued customer. Everyone there is polite and very pleasant to interact with. One associate in particular, Adria, in my opinion offers some of the best customer service I have experienced anywhere. I understand that she is relatively new to the company but she is very knowledgeable about the products and services that Club Sun has to offer and she is always smiling. She makes visiting the salon what it should be - relaxing and my "getaway." I also want to comment on the store manager, Alice. I usually go in the evenings as I work full time during the day but my one experience with Alice was also a pleasant one. One day last week I got off early and met my boyfriend there and he was debating signing up as a VIP member and Alice was very helpful in helping him make an informed decision. I have been to other tanning salons but I really like club sun the most because the staff is great and always are able to help with any questions I've had and I've never had any problems with the beds either as far as they are always clean and the bulbs actually get changed when they should so I would recommend club sun to all my friends. I love Club Sun. The girls in Callaway are always great. Their smiles keep you coming back.
