Club Sun is working with the Sunlight Institute to gather important data regarding indoor tanning customers who utilize our services for reasons other than cosmetic tanning. The objective of this study is to find out whether doctors recommend indoor tanning salons for the treatment of certain medical conditions. Though many believe doctors refer their patients to tanning salons, it is important that we quantify this information. The results of this study could be helpful for local, state and federal lobbying as well as defending our industry’s position with the media.
